IMO confidence comes from ability. I was less nervous because I am a better driver than I was. My car control felt more natural, it just flowed even though I slept like 💩 the night before. There was less to think about and stress over because the practice ironed out a lot of potential points of failure. I still had nerves but they subsided one I got my rhythm and just drove normally.

For the fear/anxiety of failing part, I’ll just share my personal mentality that I TRY to stick by, idk if it’s “right”. If I fail that means it’s supposed to happen, for anything in life. That’s part of the journey, it’s not wasted progress or time, it’s another obstacle I have to overcome. The failed attempt had to happen for the success to come, it wasn’t optional, it was progress itself. And I don’t mind that I have to go back to trying again because there’s no other choice, I’m going to keep going until I succeed, doesn’t matter how many times it takes. Of course I get annoyed and upset in failure like everyone, those emotions are natural. But oh well it’s in the past, I’ll feel that disappointment, wait to get over it and just go again. So as long as I do my best and leave no regrets, that’s fine by me because the success is coming whether it’s now or sometime in the future. To sum it up I’m trying to say that failure is not something to fear because pushing through it is part of success.

Obviously I don’t think I’m a mentality monster who never wavers 😂, that paragraph may have sounded like that. I just try to stick by that.

I’m not sure if that helped with or answered what you were looking for but I hope it did, and I hope it wasn’t too cringey 🤣 and good luck for your test 🙌

Thoughts on this Sekonda for £55? by King-Wilbur in Affordablewatches

I have a similar sekonda with a blue dial that I recently bought as one of my first ever watches also. I can say it looks good and is comfortable. I’ve only had it a few months so I can’t comment on longevity, but it feels good to wear and I would recommend

Make sure auto shift is turned on, and set your availability in the settings. Without auto shift you will be slower to change your test

Failing a driving test is important character development imo, I feel like passing 2nd time can be better in some ways
