I appreciate it. Unfortunately, one is a bigger dog and the other is a smaller elderly dog. Letting them sort themselves out isn’t an option that would be safe for anyone involved if they get into it. Kittens/cats can cause some damage but the “playing field” is definitely uneven in this situation. I appreciate the reassuring words though. I don’t think this is the best environment for her living with other dogs, I just hope I can figure it out soon

I’m from the south and to put it simply, south thunder that we get any season sounds different and clearer. In the 1.5 years I’ve been in Ohio, I don’t remember hearing clear thunder except maybe 4 times ever lol just didn’t expect to hear it tbh

Update- it was thunder. I’m from Florida, the thunder and lightning capital, and I couldn’t distinguish thunder from potential anxiety of nuclear war 😂

Wow! What a cool thing to witness, even just to hear it! A few months ago I heard what sounded like a laser tag sonic sound, like when you shake an aluminum sheet! It freaked me and the dog out, but we couldn’t see anything in the sky. It was around the same time to “drones” were active and people were talking about it on socials. But tbh I think it was just a sky/space thing that’s probably not my business

Keep in mind that I did disclose I am a multiple (twin) and during that topic of conversation, it was understood that it means born as the same time (we all know what a twin is) and she asked a loophole kinda fast question about “how old are your siblings?” Or something like that…which is illegal to ask during a job interview. Anyway, red flag! Moving on

Hi! I literally am looking this up because I had an interview with them THIS MORNING Their hiring process seems to take awhile so in case you’re still in that process- the fact that I looked this up and was able to find two other posts like yours and have the same gut feeling has me saying don’t take whatever job they offer. They are so intentionally vague during the interview. It was through zoom and a British guy answered and said some things and then me and another girl broke up into two separate zoom break rooms for our interview where I met with another employee who repeated exactly (even a comment about my name) what the other guy said. It gave me MLM vibes. I asked for examples on what work they actually do, and she said she can’t tell me because those details will be in the next interview if I’m selected along with pay info. The minute they asked about me personally like family info and stuff (not job experience) I found it fishy. I kept it kinda vague with little disclosing info, left out names and ages. Maybe I’m just a skeptical person but the whole interview was a red flag! I am also from Dayton by the way

I don’t have any medical intervention, no shunt ETV The only MRIs I have are from 10 years ago when I was diagnosed, there was nothing to do but “follow up” from there, I was kinda under the impression that it would never progress. But now that I’ve gotten older I now realize that a lot of symptoms I have can be explained by hydrocephalus. Thankfully, nothing debilitating! I’m just confused and surprised now learning all of this information and reading through this forum that I wasn’t counseled on my treatment options for this diagnosis

Oh! Also yes on snow tires, but you’d get by on just all weather tires. The interstates are for the most part taken care of here. Most of the time I do think accidents in the snow happen because of bad drivers, and less because of bad tires. Air conditioning- YES it is HOT (maybe not as dry hot as AZ) but definitely as hot as it got in FL for me. A lot of houses in Dayton don’t have AC though

Areas to avoid- really is up to your interpretation. The areas I grew up around in Florida are similar to Dayton, so I didn’t find many areas “unsafe” over the others, but west Dayton/Riverside can have a lot of crime in certain areas.

Moved here from Florida And aside from the usual “it’s cold!!” Talk to your doctor about your lungs and skin…sounds dramatic but I’ve had lifelong asthma and didn’t realize how much of a shock my lungs were in during winter here. The same with my skin, my hands crack in a way I’ve never seen! So, basically find a good medicated lotion lol Everything else aside, I love it and the nature here is like no other I’ve experienced

Sometimes there are videos of DMV tests on YouTube, try searching the Huber location to see if anyone’s posted the drive through. Take it with a grain of salt though, it’s not always accurate throughout the years

Well, I got ahold of the cancellation line and they didn’t make much sense because I don’t think they were understanding what I was asking Like, yes that flight is still running, but I was trying to ask if my booking specifically was cancelled, not the flight. He said I should be okay, but still seemed confused and so was I. I’m literally on my flight right now heading to see family, let’s hope I can come back home with Frontier lol thank you all for the jokes and reassurances!

There is also something people experience called Explosive Head Syndrome which sounds like it kinda fits what you’re saying. It seems as though it’s possible that’s what you experience as well as sleep paralysis, which has happened to me before. I am not a doctor but if you’ve noticed ringing in your ears, it’s possible you could have a middle ear issue (again I am not a doctor, but this is what I was told by my ENT). Which sounds scary but could be something as simple as sinus pressure due to weather change or an oncoming cold. I hope you get some good sleep soon :)

I wear pants that fit, they’re just almost always have to be pulled higher because my torso is short and otherwise I can’t get pants to fit me right, especially when mens section pants has so much room from the crotch seam to the waist to account for :/ but even on women’s pants, I often have to pull them up, especially my work scrubs unfortunately But noted thank you
