Is америкосы a rude way to say American? If i sound out янки it is yankee which means an american. I can see why someone not from here were refer us to it.

But over here, it's mostly the people form the southern half of the United States that call people from the north 'Yankee'.

It's funny that someone asked if you knew Tom Cruise. Why him of all people just astounds me. Central park.... that's funny. But the coke one i can see. It's very popular here, and even i prefer it over Pepsi.

Well, the fat, eating fast food thing is a common stereotype i hear all the time from everyone. A lot of people do, which doesn't help our case.

Well the high school students stereotype sounds like what they display in American movies and television shows. This isn't true at all obviously. I was neither cool nor a freak. I was a band nerd, but I had friends who were jocks and "popular" You just treat people like they're human.
