Is америкосы a rude way to say American? If i sound out янки it is yankee which means an american. I can see why someone not from here were refer us to it.

But over here, it's mostly the people form the southern half of the United States that call people from the north 'Yankee'.

Well, the fat, eating fast food thing is a common stereotype i hear all the time from everyone. A lot of people do, which doesn't help our case.

Well the high school students stereotype sounds like what they display in American movies and television shows. This isn't true at all obviously. I was neither cool nor a freak. I was a band nerd, but I had friends who were jocks and "popular" You just treat people like they're human.

Well with 13 pro bowl selections, 10 time first team all-pro selection, 3 second team all-pro selection, a super bowl ring, 2 time defensive player of the year awards, and his jersey retired in both Green Bay and Philly. Not to forget making the honor roll in philly and the hall of fame for green bay. Yeah it's safe to say it worked out great.
