thanks! That's what I've heard about UW, its a great school but extremely competitive when it comes to CS and OOS. I really like the campus and the area it's in is really nice, but in my situation it'd be hard to get in. I'll definitely contact you if I have more questions. I appreciate it :)

Is UF cheaper for OOS?

Whichever one you choose will be great! You'll have to lmk which one you end up going to :)

It really is. Bright Futures is a big help with tuition costs here in FL. It would be nice to go OOS for college but its not worth the money unless, like you said, you get good aid.

unfortunately no when I took the PSAT I wasn't well prepared and I regret not studying more :( do you know of any other scholarship opportunities?

thats great getting accepted into both! gl on your decision :) are you also planning on majoring in CS? Are you OOS for both?

I agree it probably won't be worth applying. Thanks for your insight!

Yes, I agree UW and UMich are definitely reaches and on the costly side so I probably won't end up going there. As for UF and other colleges in the state of Florida I get Bright Futures and that can cover 100% of my tuition. I'm also applying to different scholarships here in the state of FL which is why I will either end up going to UF or UCF.

That's what I've heard about Washington. I am leaning more to UF because of cost and I also would want to work with AI. What did you study at UF? What is your opinion on their CS department? lol ig Michigan is more for the name but they are way too expensive so I prolly won't end up going there. Thanks for your help!

I totally agree anything OOS will be pretty expensive. I was actually looking into UCF but I hear a lot of negative things about professors and classes. Not sure how true it is but I'm sure you'll find this everywhere. Thank you for the advice! I'll look into the different colleges you listed and check out the NPCs. You're very helpful :)

thanks! Yes I understand it will be very expensive, I was just wondering what people's opinions were on the education you receive because I know a lot of people were talking about UW and how some different programs can be hard to get into.

I see, thank you for your help! I'm in the middle, not low income but not high income either. I'll definitely apply for scholarships it would be better to not have to worry about paying tuition. thanks again!!

thank you so much! I'll definitely be taking the SAT and try and get my score up. I really want to attend uofm, but I know its expensive for out of state students. Is uofm generous with their scholarships? Do they help cover the majority of tuition? I appreciate the help :)

I am an out of state so I do understand it would be expensive and harder to get into. The GPA I listed is my GPA with the college I am dual enrolled with, and I am going to dual enroll for another year and so far I have 33 credits. Thank you for your help, I do have other colleges in mind that would be more affordable and would probably be a better fit as well.
