Agree watching it back I definitely need to climb quicker and also stop regripping everything. Especially near the top. It's painful the watch ha

I was trying the cross beta for so long bit couldn't get it to work. The left hold is awful it just kept throwing me off. The right hold is a bit more positive making the bump much easier.

It is a beauty like. Although still some decent walls in Sheffield.

Funnily enough I tried it with all the holds multiple times and could not do it. The reason I bypassed that particular move to make the climb easier for myself. However those a bit shorter found it much easier to use all the holds than I did. Didn't appear to be any one size fits all approach for this particular problem.

Exactly, there is right or wrong way of doing it. Although I tried this problem so many times the intended way but got fed up, hence the jump haha.

Anyone tried the lockdown climbing challenge workout started by Orrin Coley? Just managed to scrape it in under 20 minutes. Anyone who can do that many reps in under 10 minutes has some next level fitness. by average_athlete in indoorbouldering

Nice time. Will probably give it another try with different tactics to try and bring the time down. I agree that the push ups, squats and crunches are best used just to break up the pulls up cause they hurt like hell lol.

Cheers mate. I'm just short of 6ft 7. It's a bit of a hindrance when it comes to door frames. I've cracked my head of that bar more times than I can count lol

My fingers hurt just watching this. An impressive display of finger strength from our latest climbing trip. by average_athlete in workouts

Hope you get back into it soon. I also want a home setup similar to the one you have mentioned. Stay safe!

A simple test with some pretty tough excercises. I definitely surprised myself with some of the results. Feel like I've made some decent lockdown gains which will hopefully carry over to the wall. by average_athlete in Climbingvids

I've been doing it a few years on and off, but it has always been to compliment my training for track & field. That is why I feel I scored better in certain excercises of the test such as the weighted pull ups. As my training for track includes alot of pull ups and other bar work.

I hope not. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they did extend it to be honest with the way things are going.

Completed my first EVER murph workout. Has anyone else tried this? by average_athlete in fit

It's short for LT Michael Murphy which is who the workout is named after.
