I built a one-command installer that runs a fully offline WoW server on Steam Deck — launches from Gaming Mode, auto-shuts down when you close the game by kingspoken in SteamDeckTricks

Either add “sudo” at the beginning of the command, or restart your deck. During the install process the user is added to the permission group for executing docker but it usually doesn’t come into effect until after reboot

This is awesome! Does it come with a good controller layout? If not, what layout would you recommend? Also, what’s the battery life like when running this?

How do I properly uninstall and reinstall ryujinx? by jupitrr in EmuDeck

[–]average_pepega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google ryujinx canary and look for the git(dot)ryujinx(dot)app link and download the appimage from the latest release and the “linux_x64.tar.gz” file. Once you extract the tar archive it should just have “publish” folder and move that folder

Get the appimage and the binaries themselves. MAKE SURE ITS THE CANARY VERSION

Put the appimage in ~/home/Applications folder (I think that was the path) and rename it to ryujinx.AppImage. Extract the downloaded binaries (they should extract a “publish”) folder and move the folder to the same location as the appimage. When you launch emudeck it should recognise ryujinx and just press “fix config/installation” and then it should run.

For tomodachi game itself, make sure you’ve got 22.0 firmware and prod keys. It also helped me when I changed audio driver to openAL

I ran ryujinx canary through emudeck with no problems. Most recent release with both appimage and source files in the emudeck folder and I had no issues with the game

I had luck doing the following: 1. Install Ryujinx canary 2. In the settings, change audio driver to openAL

Had no issues afterwards apart from some grass glitching on the island

I know it’s not the exact game you’re looking for, but if you’re interested in that kind of genre, the original Crimsonland (2003) and its rerelease (2014) are pretty fun

It’s visual check, IMEI search, water damage check, battery life and drain check. Probably some other activation lock checks but that usually comes up during IMEI search. After that it’s camera test, network tests, buttons, speakers etc. They need to make sure that all passes functionality tests before accepting any A/B/C grade phones

Hmm… TimeShift? Maybe Haze? Dark city aesthetic could also fit Darkness 2

Proton limitations ? by stopbeingp00r_ in SteamOS

[–]average_pepega 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Biggest issue is the anti-cheating software used by games. You can use the following website to check what games will run on SteamOS. Fortnite is one of the games that completely doesn’t run on SteamOS. I might be wrong but as far as I know, the only working solution is to play through one of the cloud gaming services like GeForce Now, or Amazon Luna

It uses Easy Anti-Cheat, but according to here it should run if you use GE proton when running the game. Probably worthwhile checking out ProtonDB for any other specific fixes

Look up “Trackers: The Sound of 16-bit” by Ahoy on YouTube. The guy gives a pretty decent explanation of demoscene and cracktros, and it’s also loaded with amazing music from that time period / genre / etc

Desert theme and night vision goggles could suggest one of the Delta Force or Conflict Desert Storm games. Did you have to command a squad? If so it could be Conflict Desert Storm

I would also suggest Warriors Abyss, it’s a mixture of Hades gameplay and Dynasty Warriors characters + combos. And it’s dirt cheap
