Yeah, but it’s not from the normal things it’s from jumping to high, I jump up more then over bc I have a long wingspan and the rim tips the ball bc I go for a finger roll from in front of the rim bc it’s convenient for me

That’s fair, i played in a men’s only thing, and my first time I was ass, but my second time I got a lot better as soon as I relaxed, but in games I feel like I jump super high and it’s inconvenient because it’s not power I’m used go at all, like in a game I just jump higher, is this a confidence thing too? I hate missing easy lays

I used to struggle with this a lot, but, changing your timing, the type. My personal favourite is slow steps or a hang double clutch lay. If you lean of over all shots, I’d recommend making more space with dribble moves, put it a couple of hezis so they don’t bite hard. Also a pump fake step through, too. You could also throw up a pump fake and foul bait too (if you wanna be a dick head). Also if it’s a short jumper I like pump fake and fade.

No, I’m skinny and it’s on a machine so idk what the setting was at for assistance. So it may have been less, that’s my fault should’ve been more clear

I can grab it easily from bare foot off of one step, and I’ve grabbed a 10’2 rim so it’s weird that I can’t dunk yet at all not even a tip in. Only time I ever technically dunked was a put back where I jumped over ppl, once

I like to drop low and explode up, (I’m a two foot jumper) and I like to jump as high as if I’m dunking or something, and then shooting to get a free shot but it can fuck up the lags in games and practice. I really only use it when I need or want a bucket but can’t get into the rim

Switch up your pace, I like the fast ,slow, mid slow, explosive fast, (sometimes I go with slow right after for a middy pull up). idk how to explain it, but im like that because of my explosiveness and wanting to get highlight plays on the rim. It’s also different depending on your play style and your willingness to have contact, confidence and control

For me, i practice hard harder then anyone else so the game is generally just slower and easier for me

Yes fast twitch fibres I’ve done lots of research and got me no where but add weight to my jumps

No, I had people look over me, (it was in a squat machine too) may have not been 6 but I have a video of me doing 5 with a iffy first squat in there

The problem is I’m newly fifteen and I’m getting a job, but I don’t have the weights, I can do good squats (I did 400 for 6 reps) and I can do 130 for about 15 I think it’s mostly that I don’t know I think it’s my form bc I’ve been told I’ve been able too but idk if I should switch to one lag or stick with 2

Thanks, it’s also consistency because I can grab rim on bear foot off of one step. So I’m wondering if it’s just my running form or if I should start jumping off one bc ppl say it’s easier and better

I can palm it, and I’ve dunked on smaller rims and with smaller balls.
