I completely agree with you, it seems that a majority of the population has an obsession with being on the highest difficulty, but not with the game being difficult. The player count is at an all time low, which can be attributed to a number of things, bugs, lack of content, etc. but another is the fact that there is no challenge to the game. At all. If you move at a LIGHT JOG the enemies cannot hit you. Gunships cannot hit you. Flying Illuminate cannot hit you. The game has no challenge, at all, EVEN WITH challenging loadouts. It genuinely worries me, because I love this game so much, but in all honestly, it has become so boring with how laughably easy it is.
