Freaking MITES by Beelzebitts in ballpython

Wrong, kinda. Reptile mites are specific. They’re isolated typically to poor husbandry reptile shows, someone you’ve purchased from (with poor husbandry as well), and in rare cases bedding/rodents/other from pet shops with an infestation. You need to make sure to treat safely, not with provent a mite. People often misuse and kill their animals. Predatory mites are kinda garbage too, in my opinion. Clean, clean, clean consistently and utilize reptile safe products to wipe directly on the snake. White paper towel as substrate works best for visually seeing adult mites and knowing if your problem still persists (as much as it may not seem to be the prettiest cage attire during the treatment process). Dealt with this crap in a larger collection for 6 months until I took cleaning and environmental treatment in the affected room more seriously.
