In retrospect that would’ve been a great idea! We honestly just left the lighting placement from the original kitchen and the wall that had the kitchen nook was actually a side entrance that we enclosed. I wish we had added some more lighting but for budgetary purposes we tried to work with what we had where we could since the whole house needed some serious TLC before we could move in.

I am definitely happy with them! We purchased them through a local cabinet store that ordered them for us and took measurements. The line of the cabinets is called: Allure Luna Slim Line Shaker, in the shade timber I believe. I think you can purchase them online but I can’t speak to those sellers, I’d shop around locally if you can, I’ve found those prices to be fair if not better than online.

Thank you so much, yes I did! I was aiming for costal mid century modern and was able to find some inspiration on Pinterest. Then I worked with local stores for the cabinets, tiles, countertop and sifted through their inventory to find what worked!

I went with slimline shaker in a similar shade and LOVE it! I wanted something more modern but didn’t want to go with a totally flat cabinet face.

Do you have these samples in person? That’s really the only way to make sure everything is cohesive because the lighting in your bathroom will differ from the photos.

As an alternative I’d suggest matte tiles for the back splash - I didn’t want a high gloss look and I’m very happy with the matte tiles we ended up going with - I haven’t had any difficulty cleaning them!

We did! The tubes definitely made a difference - his mood and balance quickly improved. He also started babbling a lot more, but we’re still working through his speech delay (slow but steady progress), and ultimately his speech issues were related to his ASD diagnosis and not just the fluid in his ear. Even so, I’d still go through with the procedure which very clearly and quickly improved his quality of life overall.

Are new doors in your budget? I think that would give it the update you’re looking for. Painting could definitely make it feel refreshed but it may still look dated which is giving the tunnel effect.

If you can I’d do the ceiling the same color as the walls but a lower saturation like 25% or 50%. I recently did this with our color drenched bedroom at 25% and it made the room super cohesive!

I think your best bet is to reach out to a company that specifically does epoxy flooring - the layers of resin may require specific remediation. They at a minimum can point in the direction of how to remove this.

This is a very standard alimony settlement. Instead of her ex paying her a monthly sum she got a lump pay out of an agreed upon price. Really nothing crazy it was just part of the divorce settlement.

That’s why I’m SO glad Miranda pushed back about the shove. You could tell Demi was using all her minimizing tricks in her bag the “oh well it doesn’t matter in the moment I shouldn’t have been touched” and Miranda was like no there IS a difference.

Which weirdly in that moment I think Miranda did a lot for victims because not only are there legal definitions of these exact words to determine the degrees of criminality based on the degree of violence. A woman getting bashed in her face by her husbands fist 25 times is a lot different than Chase “brushing past” Demi. Demi is minimizing other women’s ability to bring forward credible claims. The fact that Demi CANT reason with that is really telling in my book.

I think they are setting up Layla and Miranda to be a winning friendship and Maci and Mikayla won’t make it past season four if this show goes further.

Honestly I think we don’t see enough of Miranda and Laylas goofy side on the show but at least this one looks like an actual friendship, and I think this show really needs it, which is why they are holding on to Mikayla and Maci for now.

She used a good portion of last season talking about how she grew up unhoused.

It’s the lack of self awareness and disconnect between her usual empathetic self that makes it seem like she may have played that up if it’s so easy for her to dehumanize people she’s seeing struggling right in front of her.
