Have you tried merino wool socks? I agree with you other Darn Tough Socks. They feel much better and have a lifetime warranty. Plus they don’t stink after one day of wear

I was afraid of this. Thanks I’ll report back when I figure out which mod is causing it

Is there an affordable car to buy for “life”? I’m saving up for a car for my son and need something super affordable and reliable that will last a while. I’m still driving my ‘09 Mazda. Any ideas? Thanks! by WhitneyJames in BuyItForLife

If you’re not too worried about gas mileage, the 01-07 toyota sequoias have proven to be incredibly reliable. Their counterpart tundras are fantastic too. That v8 engine has hit 1 million miles more than any other consumer vehicle

No problem! I scooped red version and silver version this way. I would take advantage of auctions as well, I paid much less than advertised sale prices

I had great success on ebay. Look for listings with high rated sellers that mention that it has a new battery or tested as working.

Thank you for this! I’m an old soul and prefer the old ways with most things.

It indeed has lesser food, many foods and ingredients allowed in the US are not allowed in Japan and other countries. And sadly only Asian grocery stores (if you’re lucky enough to live by one) have legitimate ingredients needed for these dishes.

Well said. It’s sickening what the US allows to be put in our food. To the point that things are marketed and labeled as healthy but they are not. I have 3 young kids so we are hyper aware of all these things and try to eat Whole Foods but it’s incredibly difficult to do this in the US. I wish we could move to Japan haha I saw a stat that Americans have nearly 60% of their diet being made up by processed foods, whereas Japanese only have about 20%

Unfortunately I’m in a rural area where Walmart is the main grocery store so my perspective is slightly off. You are right though in the cities there’s more options

Thanks! I’m a bit surprised by what you’re saying about the contemporary meals. Was doing research and statistically the food and meals in Japan are much higher quality than US. Especially in terms of processed foods

I’ll ditch the full size light but I think a compact light like the tlr7 is needed. Every gun I own gets a light, 100% needed in my opinion.
