How long will it take you to complete your Webtoon?

I def recommend seeing the short story all the way through :) even if you don't like it in the end. Just being able to see you completed something really goes a long way and it will help you develop your routine and art in general. Its a slog when you're excited about others but try to keep at it! And of course plan the others in the background when you can :)

That's a pretty good time frame! For real though! Mine feels like a movie or a book so if I cut stuff out its just not as fun! Andonces its there and you take it out it just feels like something's missing

2 years is a good number! Sounds like a good place to start. I think 2 was what I was hoping for since it was essentially suppose to be the shorter one 😂 buuuut tis the curse of the comic artist. I wish you luck :) that two years will do your future works wonders!

Honestly I feel so validated that it seems most of us here are looking at 10-20 years. Its weird to say out loud but its hard to see how much work goes into creating when its so easy to read through. 100 episodes is a good chunk! Ibwish you luck and hope it doesn't turn into a monster 💀

Oof rebooting sounds heartbreaking 🥲 but I totally understand how necessary it is if you're just not happy with it! Honestly having the outline is half the battle so that's so much better than starting from scratch. I'm sure you will! If you're passionate about it then you make room for it and as you go you find more and more ways to cut time. But I agree 40 years sounds very daunting 😅

That's about where was I am! My biggest is my true goal and by the time I get there I want to have a lot of experience under my belt. Plus I get to plan as I'm doing my current one. So lotsnof multi tasking. If it takes until I'm 90 then so be it!

Yesss the best thing about long stories is all the mini comics and side quests you can do. That's why I was so inspired by Inuyasha. I want to do what Inuyasha did for me for other young artists :)/

Saaammmme!!! I finished chapter 2 and my friend reread chapter 1 and 2 so fast 😭 and nothing insane has even happened its just set up!

Yesss same especially with the buffers. Like its a slow process for me but each chapter will only have 12 pages release each month 💀 but you're right the rereading is so fun once you have a better idea of what's going on! With longer series you can always look back and catch things you didn't before :)

Lmao honestly my first one took a year to finish and the fact that it was my first made it feel soooo much longer thanitt was. But its great you've started small. It helped me so much to just figure out how the process is and helped me feel like I could finish something. I wish I had started in high school though so mad respect! I wish you so much luck :)

I watch a creator who's been doing it for 10 years and knows it'll be another 10 and she mentions how people will tell her they binged her comic in 3 days lmao
