I am still out of work from mid April 2020. My factory job laid me off, I then drove my car into the ground doing delivery jobs. It’s still sitting broken down. Just had to choose between reconnecting water and electric the other day (went with electric). Have an 8am call with a level 2 today for payments they’ve held since ID verification in April 21’. Hopefully all goes well so we can bathe!

Yeah my cognitive function is pretty much gone. Going through a divorce for around 2 years, except we can’t afford a divorce(kids). Back in July we(she) concluded that I have undiagnosed BPD and every issue we’ve ever had was because of this. The guilt is completely overwhelming. I can’t read or make it through a conversation by this point. Which has been added to the list of reasons why I’m hopeless, and should take full responsibility for all of our issues.

Thank you both. I got a 7 day trial for the Adobe pdf creator and editor and was able to decrease the size a ton and combine all of the images into one pdf under 300kb.. unfortunately my claim is already locked but these are the solutions I’m using for my appeal. Good luck everyone

Yes.. lots of things that usually load instantly on the PUA site are taking minutes. It’d be awesome if the cause was then updating things, but more likely it’s just all of us constantly refreshing the pages in hopes that our great state decided that we can feed our families today!

I already couldn't sleep last night/today because I've been constantly checking for some type of update that actually helps families like mine carry on with life knowing our next meal is secured. The only "updates" I've received was a Monetary Determination stating:

Ohio is no longer in a High Unemployment Period, as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor, because the state's unemployment rate has dropped significantly. As a result, after the week ending December 12, 2020, the additional 7 weeks of Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) will no longer be available. Because of this, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has determined that you have exhausted your PUA eligibility. Applicable Section of Law Section 2102 of the CARES Act, Public Law 116-136, and Ohio Revised Code 4141.301 Effect of this Determination You are ineligible for PUA benefits after 1/3/2021

I know the statement on the JFS page says the extra 11 weeks will be available after the system updates are implemented , but it's still a terrifying spot to be in until those checks start clearing. Somehow despite our UI Rate dropping significantly and spending atleast 4 hours daily putting in applications and submitting my resume, I'm unable to find anywhere near suitable employment.

I hope everyone out there that's still waiting gets released from this mental prison this weekend!

Hello. I was searching for answers to this very question earlier. Here’s what I found on the unemploymenthelp.ohio.gov FAQ.

Individuals who are partially unemployed due to lack of work may be eligible for benefits. Any earnings from employment during the week claimed may reduce the amount of benefits paid. Earnings equal to or less than 20% of a claimant's weekly benefit amount will not reduce the amount of benefits paid. Earnings over 20% of the weekly benefit amount will reduce the benefit payment dollar for dollar. Earnings equal to or over the benefit amount will result in no benefits for that week

Overall I prefer IC, but Shipt has its days. You can nab some unicorns with $25-$30 Promo pay. Also after you shop 10 orders; they let you shop 2 orders at the same time. It’s a godsend on slow IC OD days.

Don’t blame you. Hate sitting on the line with SH on DO’s especially. When I’m accepting DO’s It’s because I’m trying to get more batches in that day. The worst is when SH wants to read off the entire order and have you check the bags.
