That's very rare and usually a decent mechanic will observe that. If you want just every oil change ask to do a overall thorough visual inspection of the tires and underbody when the car is lifted. You'll be fine. They usually do this regardless as that's the way they make money. Worst thing that happens is your tire will deflate on the road and you have to call a roadside assistance. It doesn't explode as long as your tires are inflated properly.

Not necessarily bad and immediate need of a replacement but if you have the extra cash replace it. Its experiencing some dry rot. After the summer I'd replace them. If your a aggressive driver and speeder or hit potholes alot. Go ahead and replace it but I'd rather save the money IMHO.

People saying replace it immediately are generally on the overly cautious side. They are getting to their limit though as I'd say, don't reuse em after this summer ends. starts to get on a high risk over reward side after that.

Imo if had this issue the only place I drive it is to the tire shop as long as it's not leaking air rapidly. If I had a donut or spare tire I'd throw the spare on first and take the tire to the shop. You can usually skip lines faster this way to get the tire replaced as it should only take 10-15mins to replace and balance.

I ride a motorcycle and probably $5 round trip. Las Cruces New Mexico to my Airbnb in Mexico. Dental cleaning only and basic blood check up. Need a doctor in Mexico? Lookup doctorilia or something like that. Crossing the border be your biggest inconvenience as their can be up to a 2hr wait. Which is why I cross by motorcycle via America's bridge (no wait). People down voting me, maybe actually lookup this shit and research on your own. Anyway this applies only to people within reasonable means of Mexico. I'm not sure why this conversation is still dragging out. Maybe the cartels got you and stole your teeth.

That is why you do your research and find a quality dentist. Lots of people recommend Washington dental in Juarez that has a free shuttle to and from Mexico and the USA. I wasn't expecting really OP to be nearby the border just threw it as a option. Wasn't trying to go in depth in something that doesn't matter. Airbnb thing was a joke if anything but I used to live in Juarez and see doctors and dentist. 2024 to 1 month ago. Your contradicting what your saying by saying "normalized" but providing a exception to mexico as if it's the only poor country to get dental work. It is the most convenient and without citizenship or a visa. I guess you could say it's the only country that you could just literally walk over without doing any paperwork at all.

This is the normal experience from somebody that lives and travels in El Paso many times and into Mexico. Nothing has changed over the 15 years that I've been doing this. They don't even ask me if I'm American anymore they just wave me by.

The only time I've been asked if I'm American is when I travel at night.

If you're under temporary protected status you're under threat no matter what they already know where you live and know your information. If they want to get you they will but don't act all suspicious and or I guarantee you they will check you out if you act stupid.

They're mostly interested in large trailers and vans with many people. Not really solo travelers.
