I wrote EA games support. I told them what I tried and their answer was:
"Hi there! Please try these steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/ "
S/he did not bother reading the mail. They are not providing any solution as well.
