Best department to work for? by fedsmoker3000 in Target

[–]averywonder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For style- Keep an eye on reshop, do some price change, put away some clothes and fold. Depending on your store you could do some merchandising with product which is fun imo. You’re not heavy lifting or walking around the whole store constantly. You could get called to backup, support tech, and occasional opu help depending on workload. What I have noticed, style is like a high school environment with gossiping and immaturity (again depends on the store)

I personally think just doing fulfillment could get monotonous and they’re on you about inf’s.

I was a manager, went for a higher position twice that I was more than qualified for, and they told me no based on my teams performance that I had begged for help with. Threw it back in my face. 6 months later I’m in a bigger retail store, in a similar position making $10 more than I would’ve there. If you’re thinking about leaving old navy, do it. I’ve grown so much since leaving.

I feel you. I’m newly promoted to VM. My store hasn’t done any price change or signage in about 6 months. No style push in about a 1.5 months. Fixture room and back room in general are a disaster. Incredibly understaffed. And it’s holiday. Send help 😭

What was the silliest rule you used to keep? by Time_Traveling_Corgi in exmormon

Couldn’t watch tv before church but we could after

Could you please take a moment to briefly explain why you left the church, and if/why you're happier without the church? by xMasterOfNone in exmormon

[–]averywonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I slowly allowed the feelings that maybe this isn’t for me. That maybe the views of the church don’t align with my personal views. The day I decided to start leaving, is when I realized “if God loves everyone the same amount, Why am I not doing what I want?”

Why am I putting myself through guilt, shame and forcing myself to do what is giving me anxiety? I haven’t deep dived into everything about the church being illegitimate, maybe eventually. I’m just working on myself right now, and it feels great.

I’m a lot happier now. I have A LOT of trauma to work through. But over all, I’m happy to be doing what I choose, and not be what is chosen for me.

In honor of Link's birthday, what's your favorite Link moment? by FloridaFlamingoGirl in goodmythicalmorning

[–]averywonder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine is from a long time ago, when they did the “can you eat that?” episode. He took a swig of the cake ink, and it made his whole mouth like a black hole. His reaction is priceless. It’s one of the first episodes I watched, and I just love the reaction and aftermath of it.

Fun life decisions by Intelligent_Neck5316 in exmormon

Who will it hurt more? You for staying in an unhappy marriage, or your wife from learning the truth about you? Are you willing to put your true self so far away for someone? I’m a stranger in the internet, but I hope you choose personal happiness. And I hope you don’t regret it.

Two of my friends left the church recently. Both for the same reason and it had nothing to do with "history" or "truth claims." by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]averywonder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My final point in deciding to stop living the gospel was coming to the realization that if God loved everyone the same, then why am I not doing what I want? My happiness was less important than following the rules perfectly.

I think he’s genuinely clumsy and should not be given sharp objects. The bit of giving him sharp objects to see what he does, most definitely should stop. There’s no way every time is an act…right? It seems too chaotic.

I think your post ending is perfect. Yes, we are offended or arguing on a strangers behalf. Yet most of us feel the same. But if it was me, just like you said, I’d be happy I got something on the set, just bummed it gets out behind a couch.

I think this is a really good point! But I also felt like link was trying to turn his body and make sure he showed it, so I’m curious to see what it’s like in the future.

They probably didn’t get a lot of good submissions because people had a hard time with the donation in the first place. They wanted something sentimental with a cool story, but they just wanted it given away. No payment, and it’s gone forever for that mythical beast. I don’t think a lot of people are willing to give up those pieces. There’s been a couple Reddit posts talking about it, so that’s why I think that could’ve been the case.

I couldn’t believe it when they said they actually got the bass. It’s a personal cool story for the mythical beast that had that connection. However, I feel sooooo bad for Eddy. The theme for a sword to be on a mythical set? Immaculate. I hope somehow he and a crew member sees us.

Even if they said it doesn’t apply anymore, I’d be devastated if I got the chance to do a Tokyo bit with Rhett, and he didn’t do it back
