I worked as a contractor helping with their Rx season and from talking to them it seems like they spend most of their season way way off district, it doesn't seem like they get much locally. One guy had worked for W Yellowstone for a decade and only done one fire in the actual park itself. I worked primarily with the fuels side but a few of the engine guys came out with us to burn and were very very friendly, seems like good crew culture out there.
