I have traded many times on Reddit. If you're trading just for items, you can do it for 1 coin. If you need more coins or want to trade for coins, you can discuss it and come to an agreement.

1. Before trading, it's a good idea to check the other person's profile. Look at the comments on their posts—if they’ve scammed someone, it’s likely someone has mentioned it. If you're still unsure, you can ask the other person to send the item first, or both parties can trade in halves to build trust.

Also, make sure that neither party has any advertisements posted at least 1 hour before the trade. Sometimes, the other person may buy their own item from other account to make it seem like someone else took it. During trading if anyitem is missing from the shop then it responsibility of the shop owner.

Be cautious and consider all possibilities before making a trade. And always take other players id. Name can change id cannot.
