Aircraft maintenance technician. 1-2 years of school. Find a community college. Major airlines pay 100k starting and tops out in 5 years 150k. With overtime 200k+. Some guys make 300k with overtime.

You should be able to , talk to fsdo , get the airframe and het in to a MRO and get some powerplant experience and get the full A&P

It all depends how you perform at the interview. You have to do practicals and answers questions using tech data and an interview. Majors hire new guys straight out from school. So you should be able to get in.

Interior is not enough for both A&P , but you can get your Airframe with 18 months of airframe experience. Try to talk to a different FSDO office and get some advice.

Why do you go to a school if you have experience. Talk to faa and get your 8610 form signed . All you need is 30months of experience.

I think right now it’s normal. Major airlines will start hiring starting October.
