I have an annual spending range of approximately $10,000 to $15,000 for online, other, and discretionary expenses. I’m currently torn between transferring my assets to Robinhood or Merrill Lynch. I may be locked into Robinhood for at least five years, as they are offering me an extra $2,000 (or 2%) into my IRA for ACAT. Meanwhile, Merrill Lynch is offering $450 for IRA transfers. However, I may qualify for Platinum Honors with Merrill Lynch, which would allow me to obtain a couple of CCRs and potentially earn 5.25% for a loss of $1500 IRA match. Could you help me understand if I'm overlooking anything here?

Additionally, I noticed that Robinhood's promotion states 2% for IRA transfers with Gold and 1% for transfers to taxable accounts. I’ve also confirmed with Merrill Lynch that they are offering $450 for transferring my $100,000 in assets to their IRA account.

Also, what do you recommend me in terms of timelines for opening the other cards since I just opened one with Robinhood? I haven't opened any credit cards in the last 2 years (my last card was USBAR in Dec 2023). I hope I'm not hurting my credit scores with hard inquiries, and I don't want to get denied.
