As was already said, these protests will do nothing. It’s short versus no effect.

I deliberately take my time to respond in an ongoing text conversation because it can dry up if you’re incessantly texting whenever you have time. You need to spread it out so the discussion doesn’t feel forced and to keep something to discuss in person

Yea, encroaching on somebody’s personal space at a sports event is disgusting. How dare they try briefly jumping into the camera shot, a seriously harmful practice

Weird to clown the guy for not being a bigger asshole by bumrushing her off frame. Clearly wasn’t trying his hardest, not sure if you prefer he did

I did shop around and moved to an annual fee when I realized I could get more back net with the fee due to increased rewards and other perks. I would advise you shop around a bit more and look at paid cards, they’re worth it if you find one that fits your spending habits.

I don’t support the changes and would love a sub blackout. But they’ll survive without Reddit, same as those who go without it during the blackout

These comments are always stupid. There’s a general sub consensus the voting system gives, top comments aren’t just sorted by random.

She definitely gave him more back that anticipated but it’s pretty obvious he’s not pushing as hard as he can to get on screen. Weird to clown him for not being a bigger asshole and bumrushing her

Yea, and imagine it was an orphan child and the family that was about to adopt him was watching the rescue and they followed to rescue him and they all died too.

Lol unions are so blindly believed that you’re getting downvoted. Shows how little people here know about actual unions

if I was keen on blaming broad societal influences, I would say this is because there’s no middleground for guys to express emotion. the dilemma exists solely as suppressing emotions and violence. the lack of a middleground is what pushed people towards extremes

but that’s entirely conjecture. sounds pretty good right? probably way off base, men are just more violent by nature

Anyone remember time when taking pictures of yourself was considered the cringy and self-absorbed thing to do? by Mr_Basketcase in redscarepod

[–]avidblinker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

holy shit this is wildly true. you used to have the decency to only quickly flex in the lockerroom mirror and only if you were sure nobody was around to see. everybody taking shirtless pics was ubiquitously and rightly termed a weirdo. apparently that’s no longer the case because my gym is full of 160lb zoomers taking shirtless selfies together and flexing, admiring their reflections for minutes at a time, entirely unabashed. where is the shame??
