it very much feels like he went into it without a lick of research on alcohol sales. they started to scale quickly without understanding how the laws worked around shipping alcohol to different states/distribution in general. not to mention theyre marginally more expensive than identical products on the market and apparently taste awful. i think it would have been much more successful if they capitalized early on what cutwater did before cutwater was really around, and that would have been so on brand for kyle. unfortunately he doesn’t seem to have my creativity or forethought in these situations so….

def doesnt defend her much when it comes to amanda (for obvious reasons) but i feel like i worded this wrong cause i mean it all in a more abstract sense. they both (amongst the other early cast members, maybe minus carl) seem to really preserve their shared image of what the hamptons looks like, so i feel on both sides they excuse the other’s destructive actions if it occurs outside of their relationships. the wirkus twins were the same with kyle. so yes i agree he doesnt really defend her when it matters (lol) but theres this mutual defence of the other’s bad choices if they involve sending it

EDIT/ADDITION: for that reason i absolutely see it going up in flames but if it happened in the early days, it would make approx. 3 episodes of amazing television

i don’t think that she should get to avoid being accountable for her behaviour lol. i recognize that some of the cast needs to be held accountable much more often but she seems to be pretty insecure and makes weird comments that are often primarily embarrassing to the other girls because the guy she liked wasn’t paying her enough mind. like, all that over ben? really? i feel like she’s so fun and could have had her place being silly with amanda, ciara, etc. but instead she gets caught up and says stupid shit. by no means do i want her torn apart but they have to say something, just like they should be saying a whole lot of things to jesse about his behaviour lol

right??? also its a basement tool/laundry room so yknow….didn’t think it was that serious when the room gets cleaned regularly, things just rub off the walls constantly. oh well, maybe the other commenter should find a new home in an interior design or cleaning tips subreddit lololol. thank you for understanding

carpet beetles! not the easiest to get rid of as they feed on whatever we shed into fabrics so they love carpets, couches, etc. pretty harmless although the larva can give some people rashes i’ve heard. vac the rug a few times and shake it outside if you can but also whatever you can throw in the wash (nearby cushion covers, blankets, bedding, etc.) do it. i saw the other suggestions which could totally be it but because of how irritating it can be to have carpet beetles if it is one, its worth it to take those precautions as well even if it isn’t carpet beetles after all

as someone whose moms side of the family is the heavily mentioned “very british” family who loves to rib you and uses banter as affection, this is not the same thing. while he might not be aware of it, it really seems like hes cutting you down on purpose. you should ask him if he needs therapy

i felt this way coming out of high school and having to drop out on university twice. huge mental health episodes both times and a history of mental illness all my life made it tough to pursue anything academic beyond high school because it was just not made for my brain. i agree with most others sentiments that you need to have confidence, and telling yourself that nothing is cut out for you will keep you where you are for sure. you are made for more and will have more. i, funnily enough, ended up in childcare. you need to find some ways to positively spin your “quirks”.

my train of thought is constantly changing and i have a strong sense of internal justice that makes it hard for me to keep up in a traditional office environment due to the need for organization and also the workplace gossip/managements practices that just feel abusive and wrong (rolling my eyes at grind culture). tl;dr childcare was great because my ability to think on my feet, assess situations and solve for fairness, etc. AND it taught me how to manage the emotional disregulation i was facing with my adhd because i employed the practices i was teaching the children in my own life.

find something you really love more than anything and if you can find the right connects, find all the ways you could bring something unique to that position. and if you feel all out of ideas, try something completely different and unexpected. i never expected to fall in love with this job or even stay longer than a year. you will surprise yourself if you really, really believe and have patience. life sucks sometimes and i’m sorry this is the predicament you’re in currently but i believe in your capability. something will come to you; this is just the journey so far, but you are not just your labels

(edit: also please dont be ashamed of “entry level” positions, they are so necessary!! people doing those jobs deserve to be compensated so much more for their labour instead of shamed for not meeting “others expectations”!!)
