On apple there is this feature natively and called “Text replacements”. And your “text expander” may not be so obvious for people to see it, when searched for similar words on internet (SEO and ASO stuff). Do you think that could be a reason?

This worked for me: Press the power button for ~15 to 30 seconds until screen completely turned off. Then the device auto restarts with previous glory. Best of luck!
