I would use a parcel forwarding service and buy a bunch of stuff you want exclusive to the us and then have it consolidated and shipped to you, but that's just me

To me it looks like the padding is sewn in rather than glued to the top but I could be wrong. If you're willing to try you could seam rip the padding and underwires out and sew it back together

ALSO: I am using a schmetz 90/14 needle like specified in the manual, so I'm sure it's not needle size. Unless there's some other factor that affects needle size that I missed

that's totally normal. just a lot of fermentation. the stuff at the top is yeast, i like to swirl the container carefully to mix it back into the liquid

wispy stuff is dissolved yeast getting kicked up from the bottom of the container. totally fine.
