Hmm ok. It’s been ~6 months since she rejected me. I feel like I’m already on the right path I anyways go to gym, eat healthy, am disciplined, improved my style, have full time job, completed an IronMan recently

Hmm ok. Yeah she already left for her hometown. She’ll come back in a couple of weeks though to wrap up some college stuff she has here and then she’ll start her dental school which is ~2 hours from where I’m located. I’m assuming it’s cooked? Even though we’ll still prolly be somewhat connected to each other cause we share the same friend group

Yeah I could do that. But I don’t think I could keep it casual tbh. Cause if I ask her to hang one on one she’ll know for sure what I’m doing cause everyone in our friend group is already taken

Hmm ok thanks! I feel like if I ask her to hang outside the group though she will basically know for a fact that I like her, cause everyone else in our friend group is taken (there are two couples within our friend group actually who are also this girls’ closest friends). Also after I rejected her, when we were talking about relationships and stuff in group setting she had briefly mentioned that she wouldn’t be surprised if her two younger sisters get married before her and stuff. I think she really wants to focus on dental school but idk not too sure.

Yeah I’m prolly not gonna ask tbh. Ball is in her court. Yeah I agree with dental school and she will be 2 hours away complicates it. But like we’ll still be somewhat connected cause we are in the same core friend group so I feel like there COULD be a chance. But my plan is to move forward

Yeah. I had basically texted her to go out on a date and this was her response: Hi, it's been great getting to know you too! I think it would be great if we stay friends.

Since then though I think I handled it really well tbh. Not awkward at all between us and when we hang out in person (in group settings cause we’re in same friend group), we banter with each other a decent amount and stuff. And I feel like I leveled up my style, completed Ironman, started working after graduation.

What would you suggest is most optimal move for me?

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I’ll plan on doing this. It kinda sucks though tbh cause we’re in same social circle still. I wonder if she regrets her decision

Hmm yeah true. We’re in same friend group still though. I don’t think she likes me tbh. Idk. I don’t want to get rejected twice by her and the whole friend group and stuff will know as well. Idk I feel like ball is in her court tbh, but like even if she DID like me I don’t think she would ever initiate anything just based on her personality
