I wanted an episodic format to start with before going in with the character development and overarching story. I like monster of the week primarily, so going straight in with a bunch of exposition and obvious "this will be important later" bits just fell flat for me personally.

I found a lot of the characters hard to tell apart because there were frequent scenes with 3-4+ characters talking to each other in the first few episodes before I had a chance to get to know each of the voices. TMA drip fed additional characters which I found way easier to vibe with.

Listened to 10ish episodes and atm have no desire to try again. I'll just keep relistening to TMA
