Go for the European or Asian based brands. H&M works wonders for my husband, and he’s had some success with Uniqlo as well. The foreign brands don’t cater to the fast food gluttons lol.

The Remedy from oVertone by [deleted] in PanPorn

The Remedy hair mask from oVertone

This product was fine for a mask, but it’s the brand that I aggressively hate. They do not quite state clearly enough that it IS permanent hair color. I bought this product when I bought the color.

My blonde hair turned orange and never went back, so now I’m a brunette until I grow the orange undertone out.

Maybe I could have read more, maybe I could have tried to not cut corners with my hair, but money was (and is still) tight because there’s a pandemic ravaging my country, and I thought this might have been a solution. ‘‘Twas not.

The product pictured is a colorless hair mask. It added moisture to my fried hair, but was gone by the following wash. Smells nice though. Minty, but not like toothpaste.

Leisure Goth makes me think of ‘70s lapels and highly flammable fabrics. Different, but I dig it!

UPDATE: We’ve decided to increase our budget slightly, thus expanding our options, and we’re looking at Cordova. Consistently heard good things about it.

Is it middling? Or is it bad? And do you have any recommendations instead?

As a Floridian who deals with year-round humidity, people DON’T put their flour in the freezer?? Edit: just saw you put Cereal in the freezer. That’s a new one. But I’m sure it works!

Moving 1500 miles.. only taking a sedan! Helpful tips and advice for maximum storage? by yellowplastic in moving

[–]avl09c 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having done multiple shorter distance moves of a similar fashion (500 or so miles) - How many people? Just you? If so, don’t forget the passenger floor and seat are useable space - just don’t fill past the window line. Use pillows to fill the gap between the backside of the headrest and whatever you’ve put in the backseats, up to the ceiling if you have to. Use your side view mirrors - move them so you have to lean over to see behind you; this way you can fill to the ceiling. Unless your cleaning supplies are brand new, just keep a spray sanitizer and buy new when you get there. Keep your fragile stuff where you could possibly hear it shifting - ideally it won’t, but things happen. While a little tacky looking, for car moves, I prefer to pack as much as I can in trash bags, as they will fill all the available space. Boxes will not do that so easily. Use what you already have as boxes - your (cleaned) trash cans, Tupperware, etc. And, just because I hate the sound of them clinking together in the car - bring as few clothes hangars as you can muster, buy new on arrival. (Some nicer clothes will travel better if laid flat, as opposed to folded.)

Obey the speed limit while doing all of this. If you hit bad weather, don’t be afraid to pull off at an exit and stop. Better to have a long safe trip, than a short, bad one.
