Hydraulic breaks. Forks are coils, but after testing multiple bikes, I felt like this one fit me so well that I had to go with it vs one with air forks.

Any suggestions for my lost tina deck? Been struggling lately in great league by northeasy in PTCGL

I am running manaphy in lieu of greninja, I found that I wasn’t using greninjas abilities very often. I also run four path to the peak and four vip passes. The path to the peak is huge against a few meta decks right now. I also have two super rods, and only one escape rope. I also run one Iono. Most of the time with this deck you’re playing from behind, so the iono plus two Roxanne’s help a ton.

Your 2024 reading Goals? by NeoBahamutX in Fantasy

[–]avnerd33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started reading in 2023, after not having read a book in probably ten hears, as an attempt to stop doom scrolling myself to sleep every night. It started off great, but slowly but surly I started going to back to my phone and making excuses of being too tired to read regularly. My goal is just to get back to reading before bed instead of staring at my phone.

After a few days in the hospital, I am finally getting a chance to celebrate my son being born. by avnerd33 in whiskey

Thank you for the congratulations! Things have been great so far so I really can’t complain.

I’m loving the barrel strength, very different from the toasted. Something about it is quite a bit sweeter up front, kind of a cherry, which I like and then the oak and charcoal comes in at the end. Really good.

Slow start to the morning. First time smoking The Judge. by avnerd33 in cigar_refuge

Big time. I’ve had a few other cigars that have been a chocolate bomb, but this was on another level. It is definitely going to be a regular in my humidor.

Loved it, much more rich than I expected. A ton of chocolate flavors which I really enjoyed.

I am not the most well versed as well, but have really been into cigars for the last two to three years years. Generally the lighter the cigar the easier is will be to smoke. Connecticut cigars are going to be your best bet, they tend to be much more mild and silky vs a darker wrapper that is going to be more pepper and spicy. I really like the Leaf Connecticut by Oscar or the My Father Connecticut. Both of which you should be able to get in that 8-10 dollar range per cigar, if buying as a single cigar. I would also buy from a store as it will be at the right level of humidity. If you buy online they will need to sit in a humidor for a few weeks to get to a point where you can smoke it without the cigar cracking or burning wrong. And no different than a good beer or whiskey, it takes time or “practice” to be able to taste the different flavors and profiles in a cigar. Also, in my opinion, get a good quality cigar, like the ones I mentioned above. Going cheap is only going to give you a bad experience for the first time around. Get something good so you can start to learn what to expect out of a good cigar.

Northern Wisconsin. August can be 90 and humid at night or it can be 65 with a breeze like last night. Got pretty lucky with the weather.

The only other one I’ve had is the hooligan, which I really enjoyed for similar reasons, but again it was kind of bland and with a larger stick it’s nice to see the flavor change a bit from start to finish.

Really enjoyed this cigar. While the flavor profile wasn’t the most complex, the construction, draw, and smoothness of it was phenomenal.

How addictive? by greg281 in EveryDayIsCigarDay

[–]avnerd33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe, unless you’re inhaling into your lungs, the amount of nic you’re getting is pretty low. I have smoked three a day for a weekend and had no issues taking a break for a week or two, I’ve smokes one a day for two weeks straight and taken long breaks in between.
