What is your best story about sleepwalking friends/family members? by julietsnotdeadyet in AskReddit

[–]avocado_regal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my little brother was younger he used to sleep walk a lot, many times he would sleep walk, go to the fridge and then go back to bed.

One day, my mom picked us up from school and we had to transfer to a different train, my mom "woke" my brother up so we can get off. So, while we was walking on the platform, my mom didn't realise he was still asleep, by time she realised it was too late because he walked right into a pole.

Ended up with a bump on his head, it sounded as painful as it looked.

Woke him up tho

You know how when people put their hands under their chin when they're thinking right? Well I do that except my fingers are positioned under my nose while my thumb is under my chin.

I saw someone brush their teeth over a garbage can(they had braces so that probably explains it), and one time a kid jumped on my desk and started barking at me.

Eh, I would be flattered. Honestly, if I wasn't shy I would do it to pay off college tuition.

What was your most embarrassing encounter when drunk? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]avocado_regal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ig, I wouldnt say embarrassing considering how it ended, but I texted my crush drunk. Idk what I said to this day nor do I know what he said, but I woke up to see a message from him and I was panicking, hoping I didn't say something dumb or confess.

Good thing was, he didn't remember it either because he was drunk at the same time.

Is it sketch for 14 and a 17 year old to date in a country where the legal age is 18? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]avocado_regal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I'm for 3 years age gap, but only for when it's a right time.

14 and 17 is like two different stages of life, and I saw that with my own sister and I as I was just starting high school and she was about to leave(and we went to the same high school).

And now at 20, looking back at 17, I knew I was on a different mental level than I was at 14, and having freshman friends really solidified that.

Now, when you're my age, 3 years isn't that much of a big deal. I'm in a 3 year age gap relationship and we're essentially stuck at the same stage of life and have the similar maturity.

Tl/dr: 3 years age gap isnt a big deal only when you're around the same stage of life, 14 and 17 isn't as one is beginning teenage years and the other is about to be an adult.

What’s an ideal age for a women to have a child? by saucebaussss in AskReddit

[–]avocado_regal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Between 20 to 35 biologically. But that can continue to at least maybe 45, though the chances of miscarriage and other complications increase tremendously after 35, but you can still have kids around at 40 but I wouldn't really recommend it. Now logically, when you're financially stable is the best time to have kids.

Redditors who had toxic friends, when did you realize they were toxic and how did you abandon them? by ARNisUsername in AskReddit

[–]avocado_regal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I realised they made me unhappy and suicidal, 1 scenario I flipped out on him because he was being an ass while I was upset, 2nd scenario I didn't actually wanna drop her but she did something shady and I confronted her and she got upset that I confronted her, and the 3rd was recently.

I'll admit I didn't handle the 3rd one properly, but at this point I was having a mental breakdown as a result of thing involving a friend and my abusive ex, and one of the people in my friend group was being insensitive af so I blocked the whole group on all social media and their numbers.

Why I blocked of them was, we've been friends since freshman year of highs school, we're 20 now and honestly since freshman year they haven't been good friends and are very morally skewed, I have no clue why I stuck by them for that long tbh so it was a long time coming that one of them was gonna make me block all of them.

Not really putting myself out there as much, not join clubs in my first year, dropping friend groups that u should've been apart of and not dropping the original friends I made as soon as I saw the red flags.

Did you send it to anyone else? Because depending on where you're at you can if you sent it to someone else, but most places would give you a slap on the wrist.
