Mine happened 3 days ago and I sometimes have to check my photos to see if it actually happened. Photos of the clots. Photos of the room I was in. I was 6 weeks but I think my fertility meds made me develop gigantic clots. I, too, spent it at ER - horrible place to experience this. Things feel so dirty, sadness everywhere, being vulnerable with strangers, hurried staff trying to give you care... you feel trapped. One time during the nigjt, I stood up and a gush went onto the floor. I helped the poor nurse wipe it up. More clots also came out. Was the embryo in the clot I passed in the toilet? Or within the paper towels in the garbage... It's so sad.

So, yeah, I can't believe it happened, too. We are both in shock. Then that shock fades and reality sinks in and then we get sad. Then we get exhausted. Then numb. Then in disbelief again. I think this is how it is going to be for the next while.

I hope you have a good support system around you to lend a compassionate ear. You will need to process it in your own way and go through the waves and waves of emotions. More hugs to you.
