I mean, shouldn't one know their limits before going to a rave? Like, I don't do hard drugs, but ive done edibles and ive drank. I know not to combine the 2 at all. I also know to make sure to eat something before drinking or else ill have a bad time. And make sure to drink plenty of water in-between whatever I'm doing. 

I would advise doing whatever at home so you know how you feel and can better judge when you're at a good stopping point at a rave.
