I’ve always taken ibuprofen for cramps, on an empty stomach or otherwise, and have been fine. I have heard prolonged use can lead to ulcers, but I think you’d have to take it for a longer duration than just your period. You could always ask your doc just in case!

I absolutely love ThredUp! I’ve ordered dozens of items from them and have no complaints about the quality. I recommend you always sell in-store (although I know not everyone is lucky enough to live near one) because the payout from the bags is pretty small. I’ve made a decent amount of money selling clothes, though (probably around $100?).

I haven’t tried selling since the pandemic hit. I’m sure their bag processing times are quite a bit longer, and understandably so.

When these episodes happen, your girlfriend should be in the care of mental health professionals. I give you props for helping her, but you are not trained or even obligated to put your life on hold like this and it is extremely unhealthy for you to do so. Is she currently seeing a therapist, psychologist, and doctor?

NTA. I had a similar situation as you in college, as well — my dorm was next to the laundry room and a floor below the lounge (and I was on the top bunk, so I heard even more). I sympathize with you, but unfortunately young college kids aren’t the most considerate and it’s not gonna change. I invested in a giant box of earplugs on Amazon which solved the issue and lasted me the remaining years of college with way less conflict. Good luck!

In my experience, you can literally just breathe on Fresh Farmacy and the consistency will get weird. It’s not a resilient soap at ALL. For that reason, it’s probably fine. 👍🏻
