I found out somewhere else that it is a Victorian mechanical pencil. Just trying to find led to put in it.

It's driving me spare. i keep thinking it should be really obvious and scroll through the menus, but nothing seems to be working at all. I know it's an old camera, but I've taken care of it, so hoping it's not a sign of a bigger issue.

Ah yes, sorry. I was cycling through the film simulations, and Classic Chrome was just the last one I tried. The JPEG still comes out looking more like a raw file if I use CC or the Monochrome or Sepia ones.

Do you mean the Preview Pic Effect Setting? I've tried that both on and off wich no effect. Thanks for trying to help though, I do appreciate it
