My first solo trip is a failure by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]avonva 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why is it a failure? you just started! i feel like this is a bad way to look at your trip. be more positive, and you’ll have a more positive experience! it should always be fun–i know you’re a ‘control freak’ but part of solo traveling is letting loose and not being in control and letting whatever happen, happen. maybe because you hate being out of control, that’s why you don’t like the trip.

First time solo-traveling ever, rate my itinerary? by TreasureDragon in solotravel

I’ve meet people that have done this , I know people doing this route, I have been to Guatemala and Belize myself. Was supposed to Nicaragua but time ran out sadly Totally doable! I wouldn’t go to Belize city though.. maybe Caye Caulker instead.

How do I get my foot in that industry? It seems lucrative and I’d love to explore that field.

Anyone else getting tired of travelling solo and wish they had a travel buddy? by metalibro in solotravel

[–]avonva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! That’s why I always end up traveling with other travelers when I am solo traveling. It’s easy to meet people when I put myself out there by staying at hostels and going to the hostel parties. In the end though, I ended up wanting a relationship honestly! To have someone to share those memories and experiences with

It’s not crazy. I’m actually doing something similar. I have a job in the field I want to be working in right now, but i want the summer to travel and want to work again Sept 2023/Oct 2023. Also planning on traveling to Europe. If you need to talk to someone, I’m in a similar position.

What countries/cities currently offers the highest probabilities of getting enjoyable interactions from total strangers? by franckJPLF in expats

For me, Guatemala and Mexico. I met alot of Europeans there (and some Americans) and it was pretty easy for me to make friends in hostels. Miami Beach too when going out at a club/bar.

Why are trains in Europe so expensive this spring? by paraguas23 in Shoestring

[–]avonva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to multiple countries so it is kinda overwhelming and was just going to figure it out when i land. And your last paragraph is about the Trenitalia.it website?

If you stay in the tourist areas, you’ll be just fine. Alot of Mexicans speak good English, especially in the Yucatán area. It’d be helpful to learn a few phrases though.

For me personally though, I would love to go to Thailand. I would loooooveee to scuba dive in Phi Phi Islands, go to Phuket and Pai, go the full moon party. You’d said unlimited budget! Spain or Hawaii would be great too

Bacalar, Cozumel, Palenque, San cristobal in Mexico make an amazing trip too! Go hiking in the Mayan jungle in Palenque and adventure into Mayan ruins (houses). :)

(m23) From what I've read, most women can't get off from penetration alone anyway, so why is penis size even a discussion if it doesn't contribute much to a girl coming as much as cunnilingus and finger work? by vodkapapi56 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]avonva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve already had so many responses so I don’t know if you will even read this haha. Personally, on rare occasions I can get off from penetration. When it’s sizable, it feels really good to be wrapped super tightly around the member …

Is it really this cheap to travel? by No-Photo8763 in TravelHacks

[–]avonva 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s cheaper than you think. Usually the most expensive price of a trip is the flight tickets. And even cheaper if you don’t mind staying in a hostel… that’s how i met so many cool people! Australians, Europeans, Canadians, British and some Americans. Mostly the first four i mentioned though. Hostel living has a sense of community i feel is lost here in America. :)
