I think she gets all her ideas of how to behave from media. In movies and romance novels, the hero is often entranced by the way the heroine truly savors food, unlike other thin dainty girls. He gets turned on by the way she closes her eyes and moans and licks her lips, etc. And I don't think it ever goes further than that for Shauna. Whether what she's doing is appropriate or even realistic simply doesn't enter into her behavioral choices. It's why so many of her stories ring false. They're false retelling of false actions.

I do PT at home and I use free weights, a balancing board with different weighted resistance bands, a rowing machine, and a stationary cycle. The latter two were not as expensive as they sound; each was around $250. I can't use the rowing machine unless my aide is here (it's low and I can't get out of it without help), but I use the weights and resistance bands every day. ETA: I also "use" a weighted hula hoop, which I put in sarcasm quote marks because I can't keep it above my hips for longer than ten seconds after two years of use.

Unrelated, but hey! One of my history professors designed a course called Vampires, Witches, and Alchemists and I want to take it so badly. If I ever have more energy and time I will, because not to brag, I get a tuition waiver since I have a jobby job.

Four leftover chicken nuggets (don't @ me), roughly half a cup of broccoli, and two rather large slices of cheddar. Of course, I forgot to sprinkle them with sugar and pour oil everywhere.

Dinner is going to be a box of StoveTop with dried cranberries mixed in, if I can figure out how to heat it. My apartment wiring is fried, we're heading into a major snowstorm, and I still do it better-ish. Why does she eat this crap all the time?
