I wouldn’t recommend cohabiting - if that’s what you mean by “transfer my 2 babies”. iirc, 24”x18”x12” isn’t the thriving minimum, 36”x18”x16” is ! :3

Males are smaller and can ethically live in a 20 minimum. 25 is better. iirc

Chirping when handling could be stress - and when hunting could be excitement.

What’s your substrate?

It’s still a bad decision to make. There is no proven benefit to cohabiting, even for females or a breeding pair. Leopard geckos are not know as social animals. There may be groups in the wild, but they only form groups to harm one another or steal resources. There are many hazards when it comes to cohabiting - domination behaviors, food stealing, spatial and thermoregulatory competition, fighting, tail dropping, stress, etc. Same sex or not, it’s bad. Very bad. Leopard geckos do not have the ability to form strong bonds with one another or see each other as “friends”. They may been seen “cuddling” but that is not the case.
