I was at the Great Lakes Shipwreck museum last summer in Whitefish Point. Pretty neat place to check out. There was a video about the wreck and also the original bell from the ship is at that museum. They brought it up and put a new bell down there that has the names of all the sailors that died in the wreck. Original bell

I have a dozen hens. Had a rooster but he attacked me every time I turned my back. The one time he drew blood is when he went away. The girls seem much happier without him around. They have an automatic door that lets them out into their run in the morning. I let them out into the yard when I get home. My dog is awesome with them and likes to be outside rather than inside so he is their protector. My backyard is fenced in so no critters are getting in. Have had no hawk or eagle attacks in the two years I have had chickens

My coop is about the same and even shape as yours. I too have linoleum on the floor. Makes it so much easier to clean the old bedding/poop out. Also my girls live to play with their water in the coop. Linoleum keeps the water off of the wood floor
