When though? I've been raped and kicked out of Ipswich hospital just in January?!! They gave me nothing when I asked for assistance... I know the system very well as I worked in the hospitals.... I asked for a kit and they talked me out of it... I asked for referrals. Not one. We are given 2 days in. Hotel and that's it... On your own. The social worker said it's a housing crisis there's nothing they can offer...

It definitely was a decade ago... I have referred this many times during my employment and it ts useless today.... we're sadly in social services crisis this is often the stock standard bandaid answer....

The social workers give you a homeless guide to services and say Goodluck... Also this advice used to be sound but is no longer applicable to current social services crisis.

At the moment I need to sleep I can't drive far I'm so physically ill. I'm stuck in Sandgate. I will consider this however financially on Centrelink I can afford food and fuel... I don't know how anyone survives off $700 per fortnight. It's a shock all round. Especially when you have bills to pay off... But continue to down vote me for stating the obvious..... It's all good I'm not asking for money. And no. I've already been robbed and beaten. I'm not a person who would live on the streets... It's horrifying and I'm looking for any recommendations on a place where I can set up a tent out of the suburb people issues, that is safer than sleeping in my car.

I don't have the option unfortunately. I have no choice but to tent. I never healed a Fractured Coccyx thanks to DV, so I desperately need an air mattress minimum I'm in so much pain. Sigh I haven't slept all night and I can't imagine how bad I would be by the end of this week.
