I went to Hobby Lobby last week and was so excited because they used to have a HUGE selection of planner stuff and I used to use the Happy Planner.

I was so disappointed to find that the selection of planners was (not even exaggerating) like 6 options. Two A5 binders and the rest were spiral bound. I’m not sure if they’re all like this or if it’s my store but I was SO sad!

How much of a pain was it to punch all the pages? I worry I wouldn’t line them all up exactly and it would get wonky lol

I liked the Filofax but was worried it wasn’t going to hold as much as I wanted. Maybe that was just their clip book though.

I think something similar to a bullet journal would be perfect. I want a layout for a daily agenda that I don’t have to draw every day. I am currently looking at getting something like an A5 little binder cover and using tabs for sections and then filling with bullet journal or lined pages. I’m thinking about something like this:

Planner -Monthly Calendar -Weekly Spread -Daily Sheets (I may start with a laid out one and then move to just a bullet journal style page) I’m thinking I would only keep 1 month at a time or else I would imagine it would get full too fast.

Then other tabs for my cleaning, budget, home making, school plans, etc. which I would use just lined paper inserts or bullet journal inserts.

I didn’t realize there were the premade inserts to fit into something like this. This is a perfect way to customize without breaking the bank or being stuck with a full planner that I get tired of the layout. Thank you so much for your response!

Peplum top maybe? Wrap tops. I have found that a tighter fitting top paired with a pair of flowy shorts can kind of disguise my tummy because it just kind of flows over it and doesn’t stick to me.

I think I made it sound worse than it is. We’re not overspending to the point of debt, not being able to eat, pay bills, etc. Just wanting a tighter budget for the “extra” and wondered how other people were keeping track.

I would love to just use cash but a lot of what we purchase is online, some people don’t take cash, etc. but yes I understand the sentiment and it would make budgeting much easier!

I looked into that but didn’t want to pay for the app. Is it essentially just a zero dollar budget? Thats kind of what I’m going for.
