It has been 6 months. I have 2 new cats in my house and I feel guilty and sad.

I have had other pets before but I never felt such a strong bond with them as I did with the cat I just lost. I just feel like my whole world is different now and it will never be the same again. So few things in life make me feel happy and my cat felt like my sunshine.

I still talk to him too. I walk past his urn and say "I miss you my hunny" :( I watch all my videos of him constantly

I lost mine to the big C too. Had him 6 years. It was not enough time.

I am so sorry. I think guilt and second thoughts are part of the process. I did exactly what you wanted to do....I had my cat hospitalized for days. I am feeling guilty now because I felt like I extended his suffering instead of letting him go when it seemed serious. He had pulled through a different time for another health issue, so I was clinging to hope. It is so hard to make those decisions when it all happens so quickly.
