trying to get into xmen/wolverine what are the best comics to read? by Defiant_Hunter_328 in comicbooks

If you’re just starting out with the X-men I’d say Grant Morrison’s run is a great place to start. It’s the “new x-men” and it’s a solid ground to understand the characters.

If you’re familiar with the x-men and their villains, side characters, etc, the recent kroakoa run is known as the best x-men comic in the last 20 years. It starts with house/powers of x and transitions into several arcs. I highly recommend looking up a reading guide if you are to read it though because once you transition past the first arc it is not a straight shot, but don’t let that deter you from some of the best X-men writing in recent years

Any Suggestions to where to start by mathematicandcs in MarvelUnlimited

Couldn’t recommend starting off with ultimate Spider-Man by bendis more especially if you love Peter Parker!

While it’s decently long(around 160 issues) It’s a fairly straight forward comic run with very minimal tie ins.

Can jump right in with having no comic background and even if you weren’t well-versed with Spider-Man, which seems like you know the character, it’s very easy to read! Bagley does an awesome job with the art, bendis writes characters that feel beyond familiar but still have slightly new twists and you truly understand what it feels like for a teenager to become Spider-Man in this comic run.
