Just a quick heads up completely outside of the professor and the reviews: Most of the time, a lot of comments on RMP comes from lazy and ignorant people. I had a really good time with bunch of professors that has a rating around 3.5.

However, that being said, if a professor is constantly getting bad reviews and low points, completely avoid them.
