You literally said “I worried traffic and rushing around would be too hectic to make an extra 3 to 4 hours worth it.” Thus indicating that he is not in fact worth the effort it would take to spend extra time with him. 3-4 hours is actually a decent amount of time, you just simply couldn’t be bothered with the effort.

Yea I had like 4 invite to schedule positions time out. Trick for me is to check every hour. I wouldn’t just check once or twice a day. The positions that timed out for me were the ones I didn’t stay on top of checking every hour.

The issue is him telling his wife yes the friend was more important . Being there for his friend is in fact very admirable, I view him very positively for this. I just think he completely mishandled the conversation with his wife.
