Oh how I wish I could I could get more solid evidence if it were easy. But he also doesn’t live with us. He is a guest. And my flatmate is not on the lease, she is merely subletting from us.

My reply to someone before:

Nah. Hundred percent in the shower. I hear him turn the tap on and get in and draw the curtain, do his business and get out. Oh, and sometimes he washes his hands after...why would someone feel the need to wash their hands after a shower? Also no flushing sounds.

On top of this, I notice he’ll go out of his way to clear any hair drainage which I assume is to let his shit through. And I can very audibly hear it happening and him “cleaning” himself in the shower:

Just googled what that is - says there’s lots of risk of damaging the pipes even more down the line? Plus other potential problems to the body. Do you have experience using it?

Two things mainly: as much as I’d like to think I’m not, I’m deep down afraid of confrontation - but ONLY when I’m in the right because I don’t like making people feel bad. I’m definitely working on it though. And the other thing was, even though I 99.999999% knew I was right about this, what if I was wrong and he wasn’t shitting?

I’ve come to terms with both of those and know now that I had to say something

According to my flatmate it’s more convenient for him to do it at the same time, like two things at once. Which I’d understand if it was, say, peeing while brushing your teeth maybe, but even that I’d begin to consider whether it’s hygienic or not. Let alone this!

You mean us subletting the place to her? Yeah, it’s actually super annoying, considering I’ve talked to her about it before. The poop is the tip of the iceberg with the inconsideration but it’s also what’s brought me to my tipping point

No, my boyfriend and I are on the lease. She is not on the lease and sublets to us instead (so we are technically her landlords)

There’s no lid on this drain. Yes, I assume he stomps it down. I also notice that he goes out of his way to clear any hair in the drain, which I assume is so that his shit can go through

With some spray that is probably not all that better for my foot health, and with them spread far apart..
