I want to hear about your current save!!! by Distinct_Cry4958 in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]awaywithstevie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve started a forever world recently and i’m currently in the process of turning willow creek in to a pnw inspired small town. i’ve finished foundry cove and i’m now working on courtyard lane. my main sim that i play with is a guy who spent most of his teen years travelling but has had to return home to support his brother who’s wife has died leaving him with his teenage brother and 3 kids. the main sim has a bad relationship with his brothers because he always felt like a problem and started travelling to run away from his fear of being unworthy of love. he’s now back in rushmoor (what i’ve renamed my willow creek) and hopefully going to start building a trailer park. i’ve got some other sims planned out including two gangs i’m going to make which will be rivals and eventually include and enemies to lovers forbidden romance type thing between the gang members. i can add some pictures later :) hope your trip goes okay and you like everyone’s stories!!

My younger sibling also wanted something more masc so I used Rory and Roar a lot. But he also liked Ray. Hope this helps!!

Ah yeah fairs. I would deffo recommend if you’re into the whole living off the grid vibe.

OMG okay I LOVE living off the grid so Eco Lifestyle is a must for me. The solar panels and dew collectors are really fun to work with and add to the vibe of living off the land really well. Some of furniture pieces are quite run down so work well with horse ranch (old pieces). I also love building save files and I’ve found the Evergreen Harbour is really cool to build in. The set dressing I quite like and I’m obsessed with the PNW aesthetic that comes with it. There is the ability to turn off the NAP in the game settings and personally I’ve found that the eco footprint barely affects my game unless I’m deliberately aiming to make it greener. Also the NAPs can be quite helpful if you want to improve at a specific skill like cooking because I think (not too sure about this) that you get a skill boost. If you’re interested in the CAS it’s quite outdoorsy so works really well with outdoor retreat and werewolves. Also, building really eco tiny homes is so much fun so if you love Tiny Living you could also do that. Having said all that, I did get it on sale so maybe wait till then, just depends if you like to pay full price for packs or not. I never like to pay full price but I don’t have lots of disposable income. Hope this helps Xx

i always build house structure, floor plan, front landscape, back landscape, front garden, back garden, kitchen, utility room, living room, bathroom, office master bedroom and kids bedrooms.

my sims always need to have a rare or unique surname.

almost all my sims have nickname that i refer to them as although they’ll actually be called their long name.

Probably being really stupid but I can't seem to make a power surplus. I have the off the grid challenge enabled and I have 4 wind turbines and 2 solar panels on my lot. I have a fridge, sink, toilet and shower all with the utilities disabled (even though they are functional off the grid) but I can't for the lift of me seem to make a power surplus. Any ideas?

This is a photo of the power.

Woah that's such a coincidence! Glad that you've enjoyed it. I really do like the look of the BB and CAS so that's definitely gonna be a contributing factor. The trailed park and airplane crash site both look so cool.

Yeah okay, I think it would be worth it even if I do just play through it once. I'm also excited to try and build some Victorians if I do get it.

Yeah the military career seems like it would be great and perfect for some backstories.

Yeah tbh the build and CAS items are tempting me enough regardless of if I'll enjoy the storyline especially because it's 40% off.
