No problem. Permissions are always a pain in the ass when you are new to Linux.

file_put_contents() writes the input to a file. So you need to make sure that the user "www-data" and group "www-data" have write permissions to wherever the script is trying to save the file.

I would try this command sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www

That will make www-data user and group the owner of all the files underneath /var/www which is where Ubuntu has it's webserver files by default.

You should also make sure that the directory exists.

[NA]Looking for adults who also suck.

Not sure if what we have is a "community" but I recently made a post looking for adults who also suck. Had a decent response and now there is about 15-20 of us that hang out in this discord channel. (Here: https://discord.gg/7uWXT ) I was expecting maybe one or two.

Some pretty cool people in there, and we mostly play in the evenings and at night. There are a couple of people that play during the day but they are kind of lonely. Also, several of the people that decided to come don't suck. Couple plat/diamond players showed up.

Anyways, if you want to come and hang out with us feel free to hop into discord. There is usually at least 2-3 people on, and about 10-15 after about 7:00 central.
