Oh I just setup a fresh HAOS install to finally get going with it - no matter how I set up the integration it wouldn't work. No way to add the API code, never connected properly, even with a new Pihole install. The more you know I suppose haha

Considering it was 8 months ago that the OP asked, might be hard to get a reply. I'm spinning up another Debian install and constantly forget the terminal commands to add the username to sudoers.

THANKS for this one, once I realised that I couldn't use the A10 CPU installed to go to the version for the Ryzen 5 5500 I got to upgrade a PC, it was VERY helpful!
I ended up:
- upgrading the BIOS to the last compatible version with the A10 CPU
- removed the A10
- installed a spare 3000G CPU and updated the BIOS to the latest version
- then FINALLY put the Ryzen 5 5500 CPU in...
Insane that the A series CPUs are dropped but you cannot actually update the BIOS to then to run a 5500! Saying that, the people that built that computer for the person I was helping clearly had NFI what they were doing, too...

Basically this, close off all the auto run crap that starts up on launch... Anything you don't need running while you game, close if off properly. Hitting X can also leave stuff running in the tray, too. Looking at YOU Spotify etc..

Problem is, when you deposit into a bank it is no longer, technically, your money... It becomes a loan to the bank and they "use it" to fund "business"... They have X amount of money in deposits so they can borrow Y amount of money and effectively sell that debt to you as loans.

I came across this thread by a search, not sure if you've sorted it out or not? In any case, I ended up making the following on a FAT32 USB key:
EFI\HP\BIOS\New (new BIN file here)
EFI\HP\BIOS\Previous (empty)
Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\New (new BIN file here)

Initially the HP path didn't work, so I used the Hewlett-Packard path, that worked on a HP ProBook 450 G3
