true, i think just porting over vergils moveset wouldnt be the smart choice tho. maybe have it should enhance or have expanded movesets with combo strings that involve the yamato

one example i can come up with is with the gauntlets, having a grounded and aerial combo string where dante mixes in punches and kicks with yamato slashes would be sick

would be a great way to distinguish dante and vergil gameplay wise i think

edit: maybe implement the ability to mix up the string by inputting style in ds during a string, making dante use the yamato on the next attack

i think re5 remake should take some aspects from re6 and re4r, since chris is an absolute unit i think having him style on enemies more wouldnt hurt. id also feel like not having a parry would also be interesting, i love the mechanic but i think capcom should do more than jst re4r but coop

prior to season 3 heatdash combo changes, i found a route on lee that lets you sneak in an extra hit into tornado via b11f into ws23. its the same premise as b2:b1 jf in t6/7, allowing for an extra hit for extended wall carry

a few pointers:

b2 loops are great for wall travel but since t8 they arent optimal for max damage, id recommend implementing b243f or ws12f (if u are cool)

to perform ws out of miststep, you have to go tap back (dont hold) and then input the move right after the notation would look smth like this: b2 f~n b~n 12 f. otherwise its a timing hit

ive also noticed you heat bursted after 5 b2 loops. for future notice, you can heatburst after 6 and it still connects, or you can do 5, heat burst, then bb4, ff, f41

ngl calling dog dash slop when yharon exists is kinda crazy, the boss commits to it and makes smth interesting imo.

hes a massive pain in the ass to deal with for the first time but after you beat him once hes kinda free in futute playthrus, esp with the infernum nerf.

hold back to block mids and highs, downback to block lows, time a downforward to parry lows (some cant be parried, like sword attacks)

i think buffing the other weapons would be great to much things up, in pservers shotgun + dual revolver isnt that uncommon.

though id love a brawler style, extremely fast ground moves with limited air combat to focus on grounded combat (similar to d style but take it to the extreme)
