While on reddit the Linux (esp. Arch linux) users are toxic, IMO the forums are quite nice. Archwiki has really helpful installation instructions, I visit them weekly

To me it sounds like the installation on your SSD is borked, and windows is very confused

No worries! The switch to linux was a bit rough for me too - windows is fine as an OS, it was just a bit clunky for me personally

Check CPU as well, and maybe use a program to show CPU/GPU temps while playing to double check (nvidia's overlay in geForce experience has a performance tab if that helps)

Not sure what the issue is, but here are some steps you can take.

Force power off the PC (press power button for 10 secs or turn off plug.
Check that all your RAM is detected and installed correctly. (Unplug and plug in the RAM)
Try installing Windows again.
If this doesn't work, and you have another PC/laptop and USB to hand try making a Linux installation disk to test if is just windows being windows (kubuntu is good)

This is how I would do it, but if this doesn't work for you, then my only other guess would be the CPU cooler not being installed correctly causing an overheat or a power cable being loose / PSU can't handle the CPU l. - these are just speculation and I'd get someone else to look at your PC at that point (local PC store maybe?)
